I’ve previously mentioned the ‘Twiggy’ Mac: once when a Mac with a 5.25-inch drive was (re)discovered, and more recently when a Twiggy Mac was restored. Well, this model is going up for auction in a few days.
Alongside an Apple I in its original box, there will be the Macintosh Twiggy with its 5.25-inch floppy disk drive. The estimated sale price for a machine of this kind, apparently the only one still in working condition, is quite modest: between €40,000 and €70,000.
