On eBay, there’s a first-generation iPhone prototype running on skankphone firmware, the iPhone’s test firmware. There’s no direct purchase price, but a minimum price (still unknown). According to the seller, it’s a 4GB model and apparently can be upgraded to iOS 3, but that lacks appeal…
Apart from the absence of markings on the casing and the operating system, it seems quite similar to a final model.
