A prototype of an Apple Watch with a « Smart Connector »

Seen on Twitter, a prototype of an Apple Watch (Series 3) with something a little special: a Smart Connector.

A Game on Vinyl: David El Gnomo (David the Gnome)

Do you remember David the Gnome? This Spanish animated series from the 80s had the honor of a video game on vinyl (and on cassette) in the original soundtrack of the series (in Spain).

The Apple TV Developer Kit: when Apple sold the Apple TV to developers for €1

In 2015, at the launch of the Apple TV (which Apple still sells under the name Apple TV HD), the brand offered something a bit unusual: a Developer Kit for €1. It was a standard box, with a standard remote… but released before it was available to regular customers.

Another ancestor of the Apple TV

You occasionally see them on eBay (but I don’t post every time): a Set Top Box from the 90s, the ancestor of the Apple TV.

Talk To Me by Mainframe: the vinyl with four programs

I’m not done with vinyl records yet, this time with Talk To Me by Mainframe. On this 80s vinyl, there aren’t just one or two programs, but four. One for the Apple II, one for the ZX Spectrum, one for the BBC Micro, and finally one for the ZX 81 (16KB).

A prototype of a ceramic Apple Watch Series 5

Apple, with the Apple Watch, occasionally offers models in different materials. The first model was released with a gold case, and the Apple Watch Series 2, 3, and 5 are available with ceramic cases. But this Series 5 model is black, whereas only the white version was officially sold.

XL·1 by Pete Shelley, another vinyl record with computer content.

I continue with my vinyl records, whenever I manage to find copies at reasonable prices. This time, it’s Pete Shelley’s XL·1, which (once again) contains a program for the ZX Spectrum.

A transparent Macintosh Portable prototype

Transparent Macs are quite common (at least in photos), but they are usually all-in-one models, like the SE. Here, it’s a Macintosh Portable, Apple’s first portable computer.

A prototype of the first Apple Watch

When Apple tested the Apple Watch, the brand decided to hide the design in a kind of rather ugly case that somewhat resembled an iPod nano. And we have some photos and even a video.

A black iPhone 5 prototype

Another prototype of the most beautiful iPhone (I really love the design), this time with a special marking.
