ADP2,1: The Apple Developer Transition Kit from 2005

The most well-known Apple ‘prototype’ is the Developer Transition Kit (DTK), also known as ADP2,1. This Intel application testing platform was sold by Apple for $1,000 or, more accurately, leased. Upon the release of the first Intel-based Macs, Apple replaced the machine with a 17-inch iMac.

ADP2,1 : l’Apple Developer Transition Kit de 2005

Le « prototype » Apple le plus connu, c’est le DTK (Developer Transition Kit), alias ADP2,1. Cette plateforme de test pour les applications Intel a été vendue 1 000 $ par Apple, ou plutôt louée : à la sortie des premiers Mac Intel, Apple a remplacé la machine par un iMac 17 pouces.
