Acknowledgments under Mac OS X (for Outlook fans)

For Windows and Outlook fans, it is possible to activate the acknowledgments with Mail on Mac OS X. I tell you first : this is a hack. Mail does not support acknowledgments by default and responses may not reach. And unlike Outlook (randomly), it is not really possible to configure the acknowledgments : in other words, either all messages have the demand, or none.

Virtualizing Snow Leopard or Leopard on Lion, with VMWare Fusion 4.x

Today, I will show you a trick that will help you to virtualize easily Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) or 10.6 (Snow Leopard) with VMWare Fusion 4.11 (the latest). The MacOS X license does not allow to virtualize the customer versions of the system, even if sometimes the developers ignore it, as with version 4.1 of VMWare Fusion … But as it is perfectly legal to virtualize Mac OS X versions in its dedicated server, it is possible to override the limitation.

iPhoto : special album for the iPhone 4 and the 4S

A little trick to recover your photos on the iPhone 4 and to sort them depending on the camera used in iPhoto, with the Smart Albums. It’s pretty simple: ask iPhoto to recover pictures from an iPhone 4 (normally, it will propose it to you if there is at least one photo taken with the iPhone 4) and then sort them by aperture : above 2.6, it is the pictures taken with the back camera, below 2.6, they are taken with the front camera.
