Another prototype of an Apple mouse is up on eBay. It’s the transparent optical version (the M5769) in white. The seller is asking for $800, which seems a bit exaggerated.
Generally, I don’t talk much about basic prototypes here; I just put out a message on Twitter. Because well, the mouse only bears a prototype inscription and doesn’t seem to differ fundamentally from a classic model. But quite recently, the same one (in black) sold for a very high price too ($450), so I guess sellers are trying. But this one is scratched and doesn’t have anything special besides the inscription, so $800 seems a bit much.
