The prototype iPhone seen recently with an unusual logo has apparently been purchased by Henry Plain. It is an iPhone 4 running SwitchBoard, a test OS. Henry’s model is a GSM variant, different.

Spotted on eBay, a prototype of the iPhone 4(S) with the distinctive logo seen on certain prototypes. The photos don’t reveal the exact model of the iPhone, but it appears to be a model of the iPhone 4 CDMA previously seen for sale. Asking for a little over $4,000 for an iPhone that doesn’t boot seems quite steep, nonetheless.

Seen on eBay (and regularly seen, though I’m not certain if it’s the same): a prototype of the iPhone 4 with an internal memory of 4 GB, recognized by iTunes as a 5 GB model. It’s quite pricey: starting at $1,400, with a buy-now option of $2,000.

On eBay, a rather surprising prototype: a white iPhone 4 with only 4GB of storage. The only commercially released iPhone with such low storage capacity is the very first model, at the American launch. The device is operational, running iOS 6.1.2, and iTunes indicates a capacity of 4GB.
