Lightfire, the ZX Spectrum game in a fully digital EP

After finding the Cabana EP on Apple, I wondered: are there other programs for « ordinosaurs » on Apple Music and the iTunes Store? The answer is yes.

An Apple Watch prototype on video

Seen on YouTube (or Twitter), an Apple Watch prototype. It’s a Series 2, but with some significant differences compared to the commercial version.

A Commodore 64 program on a CD (and on the iTunes Store)

From time to time, I come across programs for old computers that aren’t on vinyl records but on CDs. And in this case, there’s an alternative to CDs: legal downloads. That’s the case with the Cabana EP by Tree Wave.

An (old) PowerBook G3 prototype

Sometimes, information sources about prototypes are a bit dated. Like this PowerBook G3 Wallstreet: a news post from MacBidouille that’s nearly 20 years old.

An Apple Watch demonstration stand

Seen on eBay, an Apple Watch display stand that normally includes an iPad. Why « normally »? Because the iPad is missing.

A destroyed but functional Apple Watch prototype

Seen on Twitter, a slightly destroyed but functional Apple Watch prototype.

A not-so-portable iPod touch prototype

Seen on Twitter, a rather unusual iPod touch prototype. This is actually a test board used to evaluate early models, built on a massive PCB.

A video of a 17-inch PowerBook G4 prototype

Seen in a video from the Computer Clan (a regular with prototypes), a prototype of the 17-inch PowerBook G4 in its first version.

A Commodore 64 game in the special edition of a German vinyl from the 1980s

A few months have passed since I last talked about games hidden in vinyl records because I’m starting to have quite a few of them (and it’s becoming difficult to find). And the record Heartware gave me a bit of trouble, both in finding it and retrieving the data.
